  • Install the application–

                      This application is available for a smartphone user, as well as laptop users. If you are using smartphone for the JioMeet, then simply install it from Play Store. This app will consume near about 13 MB space.

  • Sign up–

              After installing the app, sign up with your email address. Type your full name beneath it. Within seconds the Jio Meet service will send you an email for verification. Visit the particular mail arrived on your mail address by Jio Meet and then click on verify. This process will directly take you to the app or website (if using a laptop) and your account on JioMeet is successfully verified.

  • Set a password–

                 After the verification process, you have to set a password. While setting a password for your JioMeet account, keep these following things in mind-

  • Put at least one capital letter
  • It should contain at least one number (1,2, 3,…)
  • It should contain at least one symbol (!, #, ^, *)

  • Confirm your password and you are all set to use JioMeet.
  • You are just 3 steps ahead of creating an account on JioMeet.

You may click on the left side of the screen to watch your profile. It has also got some options for editing the profile.

  • How to plan a meeting on the Jio Meet?

After clicking on ‘plan a meeting’ you will see a screen like this-

  • Decide on a topic for your meeting. This name of the topic will be shown to all the participants involved in the meeting.
  • Put the starting date and time of your meeting and then ending time of your meeting. The standard timing set by the JioMeet app is of 30 minutes. You can extend it according to your requirement.
  • Give the application permission to generate an ID for the meeting.
  • Now it comes to audio, video. You are the host of the meeting, choose if you want to make the voice and video on or off for yourself and all other participants.
  • Choose meeting options wisely. There are 3 options for meeting are given. Choose one from them.
  1. Enable join before host- participants can join the meeting before the host joins.
  2. Enable waiting room- this will create a waiting room for participants
  3. Don’t allow guest users- by choosing this option you are restricting the new guests to enter your room of meeting.
  • Once you are done click on the save option and you are done with planning a meeting.
