Features of the Application
- Jio Call allows its users to make rich quality voice calls to any mobile and/or landline device.
- With the use of a fixed line number, the application provides services like voice calling, video calling, and SMS sharing.
- One of the most convenient features of the app is that it allows an in-call sharing option to the users. Here, you can share your files and/or location in real-time while being on the call.
- The app comes up with the urgent call benefit feature, where the user has an option to notify the recipient of the caller regarding the urgency degree of the call.
- Considering the inclusiveness required in calling, the application allows the users to make conference calls; the limit of the conference members: 4 participants in a video conference call, and up to 6 in the audio call.

What we like about the Jio Call Application
- As the application provides messaging services, it allows the users to make Jio Call as the default messaging app in their mobile. That surely decreases the work of staying in sync with several messaging apps.
- The uses of the Jio Call application can use the app to receive calls and messages from not only Jio users but all mobile and landline users worldwide.
- This application is known to provide RCS (Rich Communication Services) in India. It comes with additional services like group chat, doodle, stickers, location sharing, and file sharing (of any format).
- If the user chooses the option ‘Fixed’ as the application starts, they are allowed to use calling services (audio and video) using the 10 digits, fixed line number. Adding to the same, this feature does not require a Jio sim.
- One of the unique features of the application is that it does not require the Jio sim card to be specifically used through the mobile, users can also operate the Jio Call application by using a sim card via a JioFi device.
- The application, Jio Call, gives the users a free-roaming call service to be used all around the nation.
- Also, in order to make the user’s mobile as convenient as it gets, the application lets its users integrate the app with the in-built phone dialer on the mobile.
What we do not like about the Jio Call Application
- The application, Jio Call, comes with a data cap based per day. The user is allowed 4G data and its benefits up to the usage of 4 Gigabytes in a day, after that the speed decreases.
- Jio Call Application is available only to users who have a Jio sim card and whose profile has been configured.
- Unlike other similar applications, which have night time benefits from 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM, the night features in this application work from only 02:00 AM to 05:00 AM.
- The application does not always have a smooth connection when connected with Jio fiber WiFi.
